Why would it be broadcasting its homepoint? That is not necessary at all for a flight operation. The only reason I can think of would be for tracking and surveillance and that seems unlikely that DJ I would have programmed it to do that.

How else would the RC/app know what it had recorded as its homepoint if it didn't broadcast it? In the txt and DAT logs it is recorded with each data packet, and since data packets do get lost it makes sense for it to be broadcast with each one rather than just if it changes.
