A New Camera / Gimbal

So it sounds like DJI will be replacing the camera / Gimbal on my Mavic. I thought they would just replace the entire Mavic. Is this what others have experienced when they sent theirs in with a focus problem? And it doesn't look like it's going to be 6 weeks like many have been saying. I just sent mine in a week ago and they're saying repairs will be done within 6 business days.

They may still replace the whole unit. My Mavic went into DJI Europe for a gimbal repair, after a couple of weeks of it sitting at DJI the status changed to free repair and a day or so later a replacement Mavic arrived.

It depends where you're located. From the East Coast it takes 4 to 6 weeks if you're on the west coast maybe four to five weeks

Wow, it's amazing I can get replacement service from other companies anywhere in the continental US ... turn around in 5 days or less, but DJI takes months. I'll be happy if they replace either the entire camera or the entire Mavic. I just want sharp images, not the blurry $10.00 camera images I was getting. Thanks everyone, hopefully soon I'll be posting awesome video like some I've see here.

WOW! This is not what I was expecting or prepared for. I just got this email from DJI a few moments ago.

I think I might be back in the air by next week end. Fingers crossed / smile on face.
