I use a brand of cleaner called CRC Lectra-Motive electric parts cleaner. I've used it a lot, especially after soldering. Never had any problems.

Hey all,
Just thought I'd let you know that I got this thing fixed. Bought a GPS/IMU unit off Ebay. It came in a couple days earlier than expected. Stuck it in this evening and everything is good to go, no warnings. Too late to get a flight in but I'll head out first thing in the morning and give it a go. The main lesson I learned here is to not let it set around, get out and fly the hell out of it. Thank you all for your time and help.
