Just be aware that DJI does not provide an SDK for their Mavic consumer drones.DJI announced the Phantom line has reached its sunset. My 2 P4Ps are my bread and butter for construction jobs. Never owned a Mavic.
Which model would be a suitable replacement?
SDK is still available for the M2P. My workhorse drone.Just be aware that DJI does not provide an SDK for their Mavic consumer drones.
You cannot use them for mapping and waypoint missions, the way you are used to with the P4 pro.
DJI think it's much better that you pay a lot more to get one of their enterprise models to have that functionality.
If you are just doing normal stills and video, the Mavic 3 pro and probably the not-yet-released Mavic 4 are equal or better than your existing drones.
