I bought a Phantom 4 Pro while the MP was at the hospital for sick drones in Carson. Should be back next week.
The P4P is not as portable as the MP by any measure. But the "setup time advantage" over the P4P is **** near negligible. I leave the P4P case in the back of my car.
This really does not take longer (enough) than the P4P to be a factor. That leaves portability.
Other things like mounting the ipad to the controller are pretty much a wash.
*Note that my "fit for flight" checks are done at home the night before or at least before I head out; and of course the other pre-flight checks at the site are carried out. The above is just to blow off the "setup" claim. Further the P4/P, unlike earlier Phantoms, has quick attach props similar to the MP.

Open the door
Open P4P box (original shipping container)
Mount the blades (while in the box)
Take it out - remove the gimbal lock
Check the battery
Ready to fly*
