Active Track ONLY Works in "Spotlight"

I can't seem to get "Trace" or "Parallel" to work in Active Track. I can draw the green box, and it says go, but it won't fly with the vehicle. It works like it should in "Spotlight" - which is, the gimble follows the vehicle but the drone stays stationary. How do I get the drone to fly with the vehicle?
I've had this Mavic 2 Pro for a couple years but only used it for photography. First time trying it out for video .

Thanks for this, PAW. I had a watch through, and I'm doing everything correctly. I'm thinking it's a software issue.
