Adding waypoints in Ground Station while flying

When I add the first waypoint by pressing "Set" on the right side of my iPad mini screen I can then press "Finish" just above set to add waypoint functions to that waypoint. I then minimize the "Finish" screen to fly and add waypoint #2. But "Set" and "Finish" have disappeared from the iPad screen so I cannot add the second or succeeding waypoints.

I am sure I am missing something but I need to find out how to add waypoints while flying them not by just Tap on the screen in pre flight planning. I tried the C1 ad C2 buttons but they do not add a waypoint and the options to configure them in DJI GO4 do not include waypoint mark.

Ahhh Found my mistake, sorry for the bother. You do not push the finish button to edit the waypoints until after you have selected all the way points.
