I was reading in another forum about the concerns over this and the hardware shipping to Canadian DJI customers. I believe we (in Canada) are getting the ADS-B equipment within the AIr2, however, after doing some digging, it seems that right now, Canadian aircraft are not mandated to install the transmitters immediately. Therefore, we wont see it actually functioning for a while.

Sounds to me like the technology is not ready here yet, its not mandated and there is a 5 year roll out plan starting last year.
