Advice For Older Editing Software

I got my Mavic today and I'm struggling to find the best export options that don't degrade the quality of the final product. I'm using Final Cut Express (I know, stone age) but it's the best I've got at the moment. Does anyone have any suggestions for export settings that will not degrade the quality of the final product? If this is already a topic of discussion I apologize for the repeat. Thanks in advance.
