Don't land or take off from beach sand or any type of sand because it get's stuck in the aircraft. Belive me it got stuck in my gimbal and it didn't move any more until I moved the gimbal with my hand. Just think about it one time over another the sand will make the gimbal not work any and you will have to send it to dji

Buy a 'can of air' mate, its a can of compressed air, and gently blow it out, slowly trying to move the gimbal.....GENTLY....

Use a landing pad.

How did you end up resolving that issue? Did you send your Mavic to DJI?
