Air 2s and iPad Mini2 Compatibility

I have an old ipad mini 2 and was wondering whether it would be suitable with the app and my air 2s. Does anyone have experience with this combination?

Too old. The Fly app requires a much newer processor. Mini 4 is marginal. Mini 5 recommended.

Yes as GadgetGuy says the Fly app requires more processor. I used to fly my first gen Mavic Air with an iPad mini2, but it was even a bit lagging with the DJI Go4 app. The iPad Mini5 runs much better.

FLY app needs at least an iPad mini 5. Mini 4 no longer works, I know as had to upgrade myself. FLY uses a lot of cpu power.

What about a regular iPad 10? Does it have enough processing power for the app and an Air 2s? I imagine it might be a bit large and heavy with the controller.
