Im probably purchasing a field monitor for photography and film work. Just wondering if it will work with the standard controller on an Air2s. Anyone tried one of these things. Laggy? Pointless?

There is no hdmi out on the Air2S Standart controller. You need to get the RCPro (or the outdated smart controller) for a hdmi output . There is no lag vs the main screen.

The second monitor is only useful if you need to share your image with a director or client more confortably. For individual use, a second screen defeats the purpuse of such a portable and simple drone. A dedicated ios or android device with a good screen and creative sunhood works better.

Well, the 2nd monitor would have about 10X the lumen output of an iPhone, so that alone makes it worthwhile for me. Perhaps some kind of screen mirroring might be a way to go. Clumsy as it sounds.

It seems that you have made your mind then. :)

Just out of curiosity: top iphones and androids output +1000 nits. Which field monitors can do 10x that?

Well, I've "made up my mind" should some knowledgable soul here explain how it can be done.

The unit Ive purchased is 3000 nits. Given the age of my 7 id say Im probably not exaggerating but thanks for the exactitude.
