Air 2 Airborne Storm Chaser in Monochrome...

A sudden storm cell materialized over Rehoboth Bay and quickly moved offshore into the Atlantic Ocean. Being a darkroom junkie from years ago, monochrome still has a great appeal to me, as it often reveals the drama and intensity of a thunderstorm in ways color can't always achieve. As an added bonus, a lightning bolt was also part of the capture. Enjoy!

Very nice , I have yet to capture a bolt of Lightning in a Pano so this gives me hope.
Post a color photo also if you have one, as that would be nice to see as well.

Well, this was a manual pano, i.e. 5 bracketed shots from each of 3 different 'positions' created by a little touch of yawl. So the odds increase of a lightning bolt occurring with 15 shots vs 1 ;-> Still it's a matter of timing and luck.
