I have a Mavic Pro 2 and a smart controller. I just noticed that upon starting drone and smart controller... it would go from the "Go Fly" screen to the basic interface screen... the one you use while flying... SKIPPING the "Aircraft Status" screen. Before... this would come up automatically. How do I get that to automatically display again? Thanks in advance. I"ve checked the manuals... youtube… but can't seem to find the solution.

I am using the GO4 app.
sorry i misunderstood what you meant ,it could be because the SC has the screen and controller in the same device there for it connects automatically with the drone

Now that you mention it, I've noticed the same thing ever since the last update to .650. Not sure how to get to the status screen either, so will look forward to further posts on this.

To OMM, when the OP was referring to the "GO FLY" screen on the Smart Controller, that refers to the prominent label on the screen button within the DJIGo4 app.

You can manually get to the status screen by clicking on the aircraft status at the top of the screen.

I know I can manually get to this by tapping on the top bar... BUT is used to be it would automatically come up 1st. I liked that it did. Now seems faster for flight... BUT I always do the aircraft status check before flight.

it was an update in the last firmware to go straight to the fly screen if the drone is powered up, go into settings and turn it of if you don't want it, forget where it is, have a search around

It's in the smart controller settings (not go app), somewhere, and called quick fly.
I'm happy that the first screen disappeared, it was just one click too much ? if something is wrong, I get a message anyway.
I like someone mentioned, just click on the status bar to quickly access it if you need it

I've been searching around... couldn't find quick fly... closest thing I found was under settings... DJI Lab... something called Fly Immediately. This just has the flight screen show up by passing everything...

Ah, I see. That's the setting I mean, but it doesn't solve your problem. I thought, it is turned on so that's why you don't see your status screen.
Well, then I have no idea. Maybe just reset your controller?
