Hey all!
I've been noticing an advisory on Airmap for some time regarding controlled airspace. It show a Control Zone Area Extension (CAE 1) from CZEG covering a large portion of Alberta and BC.
After doing some digging, I found that there's a CZEG at the Edmonton International airport and this CAE goes from Edmonton to Fort St. John and over to Fort McMurray (as found on Airmap.io).
I also found that CZEG is a virtual control zone for sim pilots.
My question is: Do I have to worry about these advisories as a drone pilot?
Just making sure I'm crossing my i's and dotting my t's.
