I’ve tried to research what the bright green areas (not circles) indicate on AirMap but no tutorial that I’ve found covers these areas. Is it okay to fly in these green areas? Thanks for the help.BBD18101-8167-44E8-8D44-9F86B1F86A9D.png

In the case you took a screenshot of, it defines the boundaries of the Crooked Creek Lake Recreational Area. It appears to be good to fly from an FAA standpoint, hence the green exclamation point. As long as there are no rules at the CCLRA banning takeoff/landing on the property you should be fine.

Thank you. Why green though? The surrounding territory has no color at all. What’s the difference?

Apple Maps and Google Maps mark Golf Courses and Parks in green. Sort of a common way to mark those. Forest lands are marked like that many times also.

Ahh, got it! So it generally has no restrictions on flight other than the normal FAA rules and common sense.
