A chip on a board or diff board?
I had my M2P setting next to a M2E and they are the same size. I even flew my M2P with DJI Pilot app and it worked. It cant be to much to add it. Anyway thx for the reply.

The function requires an ADS-B receiver and antenna as well as the firmware to run it. Also needs a separate app.

Its hardware based so absolutely no chance (why would they on an old, non certified drone anyway?)

If you really think you need it you can build your own for about $20 and use with your phone or tablet.
But its really not that useful.
