One day in Albuquerque. Recommendations for some of that dronie stuff? Sandia Peak? Have car. Can't hike (or even walk very far). After that heading home to Alaska. Anything interesting on the way? LOL.

March 16 this year. I realized sandia is at 10,000 feet and I have heart issue so that's probably out for me...
Check the Rio Grande river area north from Albuquerque. The terrain is more interesting there than the mountain range east of the city. Will depend on how much time you have and the amount of driving you’re willing to do to get somewhere.

Acoma Pueblo is 1 1/2 hours west of Albuquerque.....a unique fortress for the Acoma folks.
A drive to Santa Fe might be interesting.......go to old town to see the early Spanish influence in Churches and buildings. Multiple museums there also. Alot more interesting than Albuquerque surrounds.
