Yesterday I tried using the Quest 3 when flying around the sunset. I honestly won't be able to fly with any regular controller after this.
The size AND clarity of the picture is just amazing. Brings a whole new perspective to flying a drone and being immersed. One sees far more details, it is more secure and allows for better composition.
You can place the screen from the controller anywhere you like and change its' size. The see-theough on the Quest 3 is perfect or you can turn that of as well of course. No more problem with the sun
What you need:
1. DJI RC2 (or another controller with HDMI or UBS-C display mirrorirng output)
USB-C to HDMI cable (male/male). Has to be that direction!
2. Capture Card for 1080p @60Hz! With HDMI to USB-C output. Goes into the Quest 3
3. Quest or equivalent + Quest HDMI Link (free software to download in the Quest app store). Very quick setup. PlugnPlay.
Connect everything and turn in the controller the LAST!
That's it!
Please try it will change how you fly for fun or for customers.
Feel free to ask for support.
