I’d like to be able to output a clean 1080 signal with my Air 3S. With the RC2 controller, RTMP streaming is limited to 720p. And the USB-C output with an HDMI adapter doesn’t provide a clean image, since it mirrors the same on-screen info as the controller. Does anyone know if it’s possible to stream in 1080 via RTMP using the RC-N3 through the app? From what I’ve found online, the only two controllers compatible with the Air 3S are the RC2 and the RC-N3.

In short: is it possible to stream or capture a clean 1080 signal from the Air 3S?

Thanks.

Excuse the A.I. Answer BUT YES YOU can do it., but the available options and bitrates depend on the remote controller you're using (RC-N2 or RC-2) and your device (iOS or Android).

DJI Fly App Support: Livestreaming is supported in the DJI Fly app version 1.4.12 and later.

  • Remote Controller Compatibility:
    • DJI RC-N2: Supports 1080p or 720p resolution.
  • DJI RC-2: Supports 1080p or 720p resolution.
  • Bitrates:
    • iOS Devices: 2 Mbps or 1 Mbps.
  • Android Devices: 5 Mbps or 3 Mbps.
  • RTMP Streaming: Only RTMP live streaming is supported.
  • How to Enable Livestreaming:
  • Go to "Image Transmission Settings" in the DJI Fly app.
    Enable live streaming.
    Other Considerations:
    • Livestreaming is not supported when using the DJI RC Remote Controller.
  • Make sure you have a stable and fast internet connection.
  • Use the notification at the top of the DJI Fly screen to verify and stop the live stream.
