My ancient, version 1, Mavic Air is still going strong. A glorious 3 weeks of drinking in the vitamin Sea!
Yeah...I'm thinking I bought this original Air about 8-10 years ago. I had to work to get replacement batteries for it, tho. I've thought about upgrading to the mini 4 pro, but as long as this one still works, I'm happy. I'm wondering what the ban on DJI will do to our hobby, and availability of new models.Sweet. The quality of these old little drones still amazes me.

Did you have to get a drone license or something to fly there? Thinking about bringing my mini 3 for a tripMy ancient, version 1, Mavic Air is still going strong. A glorious 3 weeks of drinking in the vitamin Sea!
I've been there twice and have not been questioned or had any incidents. I've seen quite a few others flying on the various beaches. I think I researched before the first trip and there were no restrictions, except for the geo location to the airport.Did you have to get a drone license or something to fly there? It's really quite special there. The Caribbean people are so friendly and genuine. And, yes, we went to the beaches at the most fancy places without any issues. Some had a $5 fee to use the chairs. About the only thing lacking is access to shopping for the great organic healthy food we are used to at home, but we figured out a few things, albeit pretty pricey since everything has to be shipped in.Just discovered your video. Was there long ago well before the digital age on a three week course. Beautiful place and safe. A destination for the rich and famous.
Even though there are resorts that cater to the ultra wealthy located on the beautiful beaches every beach is a public beach so as long as you do not use the resort beach chairs you are free to enjoy the beach.
