Angular speed

Anyone else feel the angular speed is a bit slow in sport mode?

Specs claim 150deg/sec for MM, compared to 300deg/sec for Spark. I have a Tello and that turns a bit faster than the MM, though I can't find any official specs for it.

For the record - the Tello can do about 180deg/sec in sports mode (20sec to complete 10 full revolutions = 180deg/sec)

I was thinking the same thing today, if the pitch angle is less. I can't even get mine up to full speed in sport mode. Add in a bit of wind and I've actually seen my drone reduce speed and go backward during rth. Hope the angle can be changed in a firmware update.

I was referring to how fast the drone turns, rather than pitch on blades or how far forward the drone leans in forward flight. In the very limited flying I've done so far I got the drone up to 12.7m/s according to the flight logs. I've also seen the drone pushed down wind in strong gusts, which I expect were peaking at more than the drone's quoted max speed of 13m/s
