Hi there!
New to this forum and also a new owner of a Mavic Air 2. And guess what: I've already crashed the drone. Fortunately it looks like it's only the plastic parts (leg) thar are broken. I've been in contact with my local DJI service agent but they haven't received any spare parts yet so they can't help me. Do you think I can glue this while waiting for spare parts? Waiting nervously for your answers... Thanks!

Hi fredrik73 welcome to Mavic Pilots.
Sorry to see your first post was about a disaster.
Looks glue-able to me bur I would remove it first, you wouldn't want to glue those screws in.
I wouldn't know the best sort of glue to try but perhaps someone else can help with that.

Thanks for the reply (and the welcome)! I think I managed to fix it actually. I took out the screws and the broken parts, put the together, squeezed it in place and tightened the screws and it looks pretty good actually. I will buy some glue this evening just to make it a bit more steady but it looks like it will work while waiting for spare parts. Everything else seems to be working (fingers crossed).

Sorry for your crash. Glad that you were able to disassemble and repair. A light spot of thick (not thin) CA, gorilla glue makes some, might take care of it. As Cyborg stated, take care not to get glue into unwanted areas.

I wouldn't glue it, maybe tape it temporarily. The damage I am seeing shouldn't impact your flights. But I would definitely recommend hand launching and landing until you mend the leg.

Thanks for all your replies. Yeah, maybe glue isn't that smart. I would probably need to use so little that it isn't really helpful. Maybe a small patch of duct tape will be enough since it's actually pretty solid now when I first unscrewed the leg and then pushed it in place. I think that wind won't be a problem but maybe landing and taking off so maybe hand launching and landing as proposed. And, yes, care refresh would have been perfect if I hadn't been so eager to get it flying and choosed to not do it right away, and then completely forgot about it until the crash... :) Anyways, I think everything is fine. Will ask my service agent to repair it properly as soon as they have the parts in stock. Duct tape is now applied and I will try it out later today. And... lessons learned :) Thanks!
