Anyone buy this controller on eBay there are a ton of listings like that that look very legitimate.

I am seeing a ton of these RC pro controllers being sold as used open box all over eBay from China and a ton from the US that you can get it a week. Many of them say they will send you a picture of the serial number that you’re gonna receive and all of the reviews seemed very very positive.

Has anyone purchased one of the Low-Cost RC Pro (RM510) controllers for between $200 and $500 on ebay! I see most of these coming out of China with a few out of the US. What’s up with these?

I purchased an RC Pro from a Chinese seller on eBay recently. It was delivered in 20 days. It was not new, but it seems to be in perfect condition. No additional tariffs were added to the price.

Yeah amazing to think these were 800, 900, 1000+ few years ago.

For what it is worth I bought a DJI Smart Controller (Mavic 2, Air 2, 2S), this way on eBay. Many advertised, all “open box”. What is up with all these open boxes? Clearly worth a lot more in sealed original packaging.

Anyway, used it for a short time, but realized quickly the sound had a serious problem, i.e., garbled, unintelligible or non-existent. I set up a return. After the prescribed waiting period all my money was refunded. So if you give it a try and for some reason it doesn’t work out, eBay stands behind it.
So, now it is back to the original controller whose battery is very lame and the venerable iPad.

Maybe, but in addition to it being completely unitelligible (by me), it would cut in and out. I haven’t decided to invest in another go at this at this point.
