Anyone found a way to auto start the screen recorder on the RC Pro 2 Controller?

Hi there would be nice to have the screen recorder start every time the controller starts does any body know of a way?

I'm guessing this is independent of the DJI Fly App so is there an Android app you can download that does this?

I know about the Backspace + Left Button Click but have to remember to do it :-)

Many thanks

Happy to help :-) Currently burrowing down the wormhole that is MacroDroid but not looking good 🙆‍♂️
Cool! As an Android device, it might be possible that way, unless DJI has somehow sandboxed control over their app, isolating it from being a triggering event. Lots of others have wanted video recording to be automatic upon arming of the motors, as nothing more frustrating than landing, only to find out you never pressed record! Autel offered that as a feature, but DJI never has, except through Litchi.

I think it has beaten me 🙇‍♂️and your little label plus a quick back button and video start button push is probably just as effective. 👍

Thanks for the clarification that the left button is the Video start button. I was misinterpreting it as a left press on the 5-D button! LOL! The real one is much more intuitive.
So "Back button + Video Start button" then for instant screen recording or stopping!

so much easier to use Litchi, you don't have to remember to press anything it starts recording from takeoff to switchoff on landing

Two separate issues. Video recording of the flight from pressing the Video Record button, and screen recording from pressing the Back button and the Video Record button simultaneously on the RC Pro 2 for the Mavic 4 Pro.

The Mavic 4 Pro can't use Litchi because no SDK exists for the Mavic 4 Pro.
Even with Litchi, I am not aware of any automatic screen recording capability.
Litchi can only do automatic video recording of the flight, as I already stated in Post #6 above, but not on the Mavic4 Pro.
