Hi all,

Been thinking of selling the MA1 because I don't use it as much anymore given that I have upgraded to the MA2. Accordingly I have been flying my MA1 again and noticed the following erratic behaviour.

My MA1 will hover fine in normal and sport mode, but when I switch APAS on and the drone is stationary that it will start to YAW clockwise to the right.

Re-flying the MA1, I have done an compass and controller recalibration. Maybe need to do an IMU calibration.

Please let me know what you think.

Have you tried:
  • Doing a reset of user settings in DJI Go4 ?
  • Uninstalling and re-installing DJI Go4 ?
  • Refreshing the firmware on the AC and RC using DJI Assistant 2 ?

Definitely it is not a matter of IMU problem. Doing this only in APAS seams that something makes the sensors think that some obstacle there is in the direction of flight and the system tries to avoid. If MA1 flies normally in other mods all works good. Please first try to clean all sensors and check their condition and functionality.
