App says gimbal is stuck when it’s not!

When I boot up my mini 2, the fly app says the gimbal is stuck when it isn’t. When it boots, the camera clearly does its boot Up sequence where it moves around and perform its full range of motion. I’ve rebooted both controller and drone as well as changed phones and updated the firmware. Anyone know the fix for this?

Did this problem start "out of the blue"?
I have a Mavic Mini gimbal that does the same thing but that drone was in a crash that tore the ribbon cable and broke the rear arms of the gimbal carrier.
Just as a matter of interest check what yaw the gimbal goes through during the boot dance and compare that to what is actually available.

@ihavequestions a gimbal stuck message, basically has three main areas of concern ,for what is causing it to appear
(1) damage to the ribbon cable that controls the gimbal motors
(2) a disconnected cable from the camera control board, or damage to the board
(3) some foreign body ie dirt or debris preventing the smooth operation of the gimbal
or in the case of a crash then a combination of all three

Replace your ribbon cable. I have the same problem with my Mavic pro and I'm going to fix mine soon. I can't garantee but I think I can pay for one for you. Dm me.

Move the gimbal by hand to its limits to check for any debris that is jamming it slightly. Compressed air is a good method of cleaning junk out of the gimbal as it doesn't take much to cause the error.
