Attempted fly away

OK so this morning I was doing a surveillance video, take off and hover for 20 min then land. Pretty fool proof except when landing I decided to hand catch and I got my hand under the sensor and the MA decided to jump up which is fine however then it decided to take off forward at full tilt and I quickly pull all the way back on the stick which caused it to just hover but struggle to stay still. At any point if I let the stick to back to center the drone would again go full tilt forward. I was at 12% battery so I just let it wind down and do a self landing. I am hoping this was a one off but will see tomorrow when I re run the task. Anyone else have anything like this happen? I am at current firmware BTW.

How far away was your HP? With 12% remaining Battery the AC might have initiated RTH but this should be notified on your screen. Any messages there?

about 12 inches and it was not doing RTH as I had canceled that as the operation was directly above me at 120 feet. I had the drone down at the HP hovering at 6 feet when I went to grab it. I did a prior test and was able to do the same operation down to 2% battery before it did a force landing, again from 5 feet. For my next run (2 of 4 I was hired to do) I have the sensors disabled as I think that is what triggered the odd behavior.
