Is there anyway with the mini2 to disable the 'hold down' to autoland? I find that when trying to fly low level it can kick in and try to land, instead of just fly low. TIA

It will only go into auto land if the left stick is held FULL down for over a second second... Try not using full deflection when you are low?

You don't need to hold the stick down for it to initiate autolanding. If the stick is held long enough when the drone is close enough to the ground, it will kick in, it's the distance to the ground that is the factor here. I've got a descending shot required to almost the ground. Was hoping it could be shutoff, beginners drone, beginners options I guess, hey ho.

Perhaps covering the downward sensors, particularly the IR one. Not sure how you'd gracefully land though. That and during final landing, the gimbal is brought horizontal so that the lens doesn't hit ground or debris.

The P3 will let you touch down and let the motors idle. You power off either down stick (safest) or CSC. It will assume having landed and power off with down stick when altitude doesn't change for 2 seconds. Gimbal has a lot more clearance from ground.

You could put piece of tape over vision sensor. This way ATTI mode will be forced.
can fly as low as you want. Care must be taken to control the aircraft .
