Automated FAA Controlled Airspace authorization

I still have to call even with a LAANC authorization at some airports.

I got a similar message when submitting a LAANC request near Morristown, NJ:



I ended up cancelling my flight so I never actually ended up giving them a call.

So I just called BJC this afternoon before a flight, and they just asked me:

• "Is it registered?" YES
• "So you know all the rules and stuff?" YES

"OK, have fun!"

They didn't even care where I was -- guess they don't see it as an issue. It was super easy to just give them a quick call to notify them of my flight.
