Repeated issues getting FAA waiver approved near Providence, RI

I have a waiver request in on FAA DroneZone for a flight over a commercial property near TF Green Airport in Providence, RI in a 0' zone. My last two applications for this same location have timed out and the status has stayed at "submitted" before showing "canceled by FAA." I have had 60-70 other applications approved all over New England with no issues, including directly next to Class C airports and in military airspace, but I consistently have problems with the FAA at KPVD.

Does anyone know of a way to escalate this request, or someone at the FAA I can reach out to to hopefully find a way to get this approved?

I think there is a personnel shortage issue. I have had the same problem. In the past, I could get a waiver for a construction site I was doing in less than 7 days. Now, nothing.

I suspect you're right. I routinely get waivers all over Massachusetts and New Hampshire approved within 5-7 days, but I've been having consistent issues with Rhode Island. I would have thought the same FAA group approves those waivers, but it seems that something is clearly different about it.

The last one I did (not for the construction job), for the first time, I received an email from a person who said he is from Air Traffic Control and if I fly 100 ft lower and resubmit, he would approve it. I did and he did.

I had never been emailed by "Air Traffic Control" ever.
