Having obtained permission from the MOD Low Fly Team to fly in this area (at a specified time) I wanted to fly up the burn and capture the snow atop the peaks, but the weather wasn't quite playing ball.

Sunshine at the bottom, and snow/sleet/rain coming in as I topped the ascent - I had my strobes on so we could maintain VLOS.

Still, it made for some dramatic and interesting footage, showing the transition from autumn to winter as altitude increased.

Perhaps a bit different to my usual video, but I think it works...

Stunning locale with the steep stream and falls. Coulda mixed up the clips more with forward/back, straight down and use forward or backwards travel along while doing panos. I love watching your aerials. The locales and sights are outstanding as is your flying and editing.

Super duper! Excellent “work”. How does one get perm from MOD to fly in a no-fly zone. Connections?
No connections, check the Low Fly timetable, then email the low flying unit, they can let you know if there are any issues on the day, and if needs be, they can add you to their system - you would need coordinates and day / time and height that you are wanting to fly...

Thank you, glad it was enjoyed... Still a few more to edit from that trip yet...

Thanks, I was pushed for time, so didnt fly as long as I wanted, plus the rain... Thank you for those very kind words on my flying and editing :)

Great flight. interesting contrast between low / high elevation. Rainbow at the end was perfect. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, yeah, I knew the snow caps were there, didnt know I was flying into a storm though...

I must admit I didn't pay too much attention to the text so the snow capped peaks caught me by surprise.
Was that a little snow higher up. No matter the Air3 looks like it handled it with no difficulties.
I suppose you'll be in camo for next few flights (a side effect from dealing with MOD).
No nice job as always Suzanne.

Thanks, yes, it was a bit of sleet and snow I was flying through, and the drone was totally fine with it too.
