Hi Dale,

Thank you! I really enjoyed your montage with slow-motion shots and stills, beautifully complemented by the music.

It’s inspiring—I’ll have to try something like this myself. Right now, my videos tend to be single, uncut pieces of footage, so this could be a fun new challenge for me.

Cheers

Awesome video!

I was hooked after the first frame, excellent flying as well, really something, watched every minute.

Thanks so much for your comment. It looks like it’s time to retire my Mavic Mini too. It was my first drone (and I still have it), but these days, the Avata 2 is my go-to. In my opinion, FPV is the only way to fly now—not just for the thrill of cruising around (although that’s a big plus). It’s much more immersive than staring at a tablet or phone screen, especially in bright sunlight, even if it sometimes feels like you’re flirting with disaster!

I noticed you have a Neo. I’ve been considering getting one myself, especially since I can use my Avata 2 controller and goggles with it. The problem I have right now is after running through three batteries on the Avata, my controller and goggles still have a full charge—not great for long-term storage. If I had the Neo, burning through another three batteries could bring their levels down to a better storage range. (That’s my excuse for getting the Neo, and I’m sticking to it! 😄)

So, how are you liking the Neo? Convince me I don’t need it—or push me over the edge!

Cheers...and thanks again for the comment.

My first drone was a mini about 2 yrs ago I sold it to a friend and bought a Air 2 as my second drone. I like the Neo for flying in areas where it won't draw much attention or concern because of it's size, or if I want to just get a quick flight and because of it's small size and power limitations. I don't push it much as far or high because of that.
I wouldn't worry too much about the batteries on the controller or goggles they way I do about the power batteries for storage. I've always been a stickler about what charge remains in my power batteries when not in use.
I bought my Neo before the Avata 2 and so my reasoning was I already have the Neo and N3 goggles and controller I might as well get the Avata 2 to go with it to round out the FPV experience and the Avata 2 has a much longer flight time. Made perfect sense to me, ;). But then I now have 5 Drones, lol.
