Students at our school ran a fund raiser last weekend to raise funds for “buy a bail” (a charity that provides fodder for drought stricken farmers here in Australia at the moment). They ran an air race between the school “house’s” from Brisbane to Perth in single engine Cessna. (On our sims, of course)
They flew through the night, making all the appropriate fuel stops etc. Just over 19 hours later the first aircraft landed in Perth.
They managed to raise $2000, which was a great effort for these kids.
