A while back, I posted a video of two old MiGs and a Mil Mi-24 that are part of the open air exhibition at the Bahirdar war museum. The footage was woefully under exposed. I did a re-edit today and here is the result.

Nice. Particularly like the early Mil Hind (A maybe?).

Only ever seen a D or later before and not one with the ‘greenhouse’ canopy.

It really is though. It’s like the designer didn’t know what to do with the cockpit so just chucked that up around it.

The D onward looks mean as. Saw one very low in Cyprus a few weeks ago - awesome sight.

These were meant for troop transport AND attack. With a design specification like that, I won't blame the designers for throwing up their arms. As long as the pilots have a roof over their heads
