Not really a stupid question. A whole lot about the Enterprise drone is very poorly documented. I downloaded a big chunk of my operating area, the Enterprise controller has a lot of memory, so you can put a pretty big area in memory. On the other hand, if your running RTK, you need to connect the controller to your phone for internet to get NTRIP or CORS data. The side effect is you're going to get the map anyway. If you are not connecting to the internet, then having an offline map in your controller is a plus. As to which one it actually uses, the one in the controller or the online one, I think it will use the data stored locally as long as it is current.
