Curious, do all Mavics have battery connector pins uneven?

Interesting that there are 10 pins. I assume 2 pins for each of the 3 cells, 2 grounds and maybe 2 connections for monitoring the state of the battery?

Lots of engineered redundantly for safety/reliability.

They are using only 5 pins, the other 5 pins are just mirrored. That's the reason why you may connect the charging plug both ways.
Using two pins per signal adds some redundancy to the system. E.g. within Phantom 2 and Phantom 3 series there have been just two spring-loaded pins for communication with the battery and there was always high risk for itermittance because of dirt on the contact surface.
