Battery

Are you asking for help?

Retire from flight. Possibly use for ground operations.
I up until yesterday kept a swollen battery around for testing settings on my phantom but after watching a battery explode on the ground on another forum I decided it was better to get rid of it.i know this is the mavic forum but the batteries are still lipo

I have two M1P's. I noticed that the batteries for the orange one have some swelling along the bottom of the batteries, The ones for my green one are fine. i purchased both of them used. Is there a way i can determine the age of the batteries as well as how many charging cycles they have had. I still fly with the orange ones but know the flying time is reduced a bit.

Yes, just boot everything up and look on the battery section on the DJI app. It will tell you the cycles and the date of production. Just FYI, all mine that have puffed had between 40 and 50 cycles and all were mfg'd 7/2018. I'm wondering if they had a bad batch and curious as to the mfg date of other batteries gone bad. Please post up if you get that info.

battery section?

Yes, in the GO app hit the (...) upper right, then the battery icon (5th one down, below the "HD"), then at the lower right hit the (>) for Details. You should get the serial number, times charged and the date of Mfg.

Hope this helps :)

Please post your your battery battery mfg date and number of cycles in cactusjackslade post when you figure out how to get the info.

Thank you. I have three batteries for my neon orange drone. All have some minor swelling on the bottom. They were all made in July of 2017 and have 30, 32 and 33 cycles respectively.. When i get a chance I will check the non-swollen ones on my neon green drone.

i just tested the three i have for my neon green M1P. one is dated 8/17 and has 51 cycles and the other two are dated 9/18 and have 1 and 19 cycles respectively
