Sad to see how much this place has deteriorated, the buildings in the sea are WW2 pillboxes and there’s more further out to sea at low tide and that will be part 2 . You can see also where the farmer planted the sweet corn but not safe to harvest! Tough time for these guys.

I was wondering the same thing about the color of the water. I'm guessing it's naturally colored by the erosion. Those who served in the bunkers at that shore would not recognize the coast, I imagine.

Yes it’s particularly muddy at that point because of the erosion , but the north sea is dark anyway
