I have a couple of Sandisk Extreme Plus cards in 128gb but the Air 3s just doesn't use them reliably. Sometimes not able to recognize them. I have a few of them and about half of them work.

They work ok in my computer on a card reader so I know they are ok - just not liked by the 3s.

What cards are you all using that are reliable in their use on the quad?

Sandisk Extreme and Extreme Plus cards work very well.
The number of failures you've described suggests you might have some counterfeit cards.

Yup, have not used Extreme Plus or standard Extreme but my Mini drone uses Sandisk Extreme Pro, with no issues.

Only changed to Lexar for my Air 3S as these were the recommended brand and particular card DJI recommended for this drone.

I had a problem with my Mavic 2 pro a few years back ,Sandisk has always been my go to sd card since the beginning HOWEVER I did order 3 Sandisk extreme cards thru EBAY coming from CHINA and found they were knock offs and after close inspection and right clicking on an image found that I had been HAD .
Dont make the same mistake I did ,do the right thing BUY from Walmart of Best Buy ,Ebay can be great but be careful

Sound advice, always buy these from a reputable retailer ie. Amazon

Professional Angelbird They are pricy SD cards probably overkill for my Air3s but work great ,very fast read and wright speeds.

These have been good for me. Available in 256 and 512 too

I would suggest any name brand v30 128 or 256gb that fails is a fake. The bigger the name the more fakes are out there. Sandisk ATM ! Usually but not always the cheaper the price the most likely to be fakes. I always suggest do not buy online but from a local store where u can return if it fails ..

I'm actually just using the onboard SSD. Mainly use my Air3S for photos and the 42GB storage is sufficient for now.
