Best results: RAW or HDR Bracket?

Which format creates the best results? I post-process in LightRoom. My understanding is that RAW files have a lot of information that JPGs don't have, and that HDR bracket shots have a big dynamic range. So what will create the best results in post-processing?

Often - yes, but it depends somewhat on the dynamic range of the scene. With HDR one can construct a 16 bit per channel image and then map it to give optimal viewing results. RAW only provides 12 bits.
