Best version of dji fly app for older android phone?

I am getting my first drone, a mini 2 and have been reading about issues on older phones with the V 1.5.4 version.That version is for android 11 and above. My phone is a samsung s9+ with a android 9.

I use a samsung S7 android 8 and have no problems with it using DJI FLY V 1.5.4

That's one of the mobile devices DJI currently supports. Why not try the current version of DJI Fly before attempting to fix a problem that might not exist?

It run seems to be running fine on my Samsung S9+ with Android 10.
