Its a hanger (sorry, not a hangar) and it's made by the same fellow who makes the laminated preflight checklists. It probably takes him 2 hours to make each one, so thats why the price is what it is, but I just thought it was a cool idea. I have seen countless people hanging their Phantoms, now you can hang your Mav. I have one coming in the mail and will let everyone know which drones it fits. The picture is of a Mavic 2, so the company is obviously thinking ahead. It looks like it will fit the MP and MPP.

Here's his website and a picture. The latest version will have a slip proof foam pad on the pedestal. My only recommendation is to use a level with bubble when mounting it to make sure the controller pedestal is horizontal to the ground:

Oh, by the way, if people wonder if it's ok to leave the arms of the Mavic extended and hang the drone by its arms, the answer is yes, it's ok. The point at which the hanger makes contact with the arm is the strongest point on the arm, right at the arm joint. Also, the springs inside the arms are happy at full detent or folded.

I wonder if the wife will let me hang it on the wall in the lounge, think I know the answer to that one:rolleyes:
I wanted to hang one on my wall too but my wife said I had to take down the rhino head 1st. I guess I'll have to hang the mavic in the grand ballroom.

I did ask if could take her “Rembrandt” painting down to hang my mavic in its place, all I can say, the 2nd word was OFF:oops: don’t know what her problem is.....;);)

How hard was it to install the wrap? Can you see the orange good at a distance?

My wife said I could hang it anywhere I wanted to..... as long as it wasn't in the house.

My retort would be, "Im so sorry honey, you're right. I will just hang it in the new man cave I will be building in the backyard." (If I got away with that comment, she would probably make me live in it too)

Well when the last child left the house I turned his room into the man cave/work studio and had it all fixed like I wanted it where I could keep my stuff and put what I wanted on the walls, but there has been a lot of creep into my space and I am slowly being overtaken. So I need to put some heat in the workshop and move the man cave out there. LOL

I made my own wrap. We have a vinyl cutter and I found the template online. I used Oracal 651 which should last a good long time on my Mavic. I have a decal I put on the back of my Jeep right on the rear window. It has been there for 2 years and looks as good as the day I put it on. It has been in the sun, rain, snow, sleet and the wiper runs right across it. I figure if it can hold up to that it will hold up on the Mavic. It was not hard at all to install, you just have to make sure to get all the air bubbles out.

Time to put a padlock on the man cave.

I gotta ask, did the wife make you put the vinyl cutter in the man cave?
