Bird accident question

I am not new to the drone world... Had previously a phantom 3 standard and now a Mavic Pro Platinum. My question is regarding bird accidents or bird strikes. Does this started with drones or RC traditional airplanes suffer as well of the same issue? Because I have tried to find in YouTube bird strikes in traditional rc airplanes and basically can't find anything related.

Interesting, so the whole bird attack is just an usual thing in the rc flying world.

these gliders have been tried as bird deterrents with some results, but no more than drones with different skins.
