A spot I have been itching to try and fly again, and this time - with Autumn colours and after a night of heavy rain - I think I may have finally done it proper justice!

Originally we planned on flying both AVATA1 and AVATA2, to capture some footage of the drones flying over the falls, but conditions were somewhat tricky, and Lee declined to fly, meaning it was up to me and the AVATA2...

I think I did it justice on this 3rd attempt, but I would be interested in hearing your opinion...

Very nice. Your piloting skills are great along with your photographic prowess.
I am wondering if you ever have signal strength issues in those tight and deep places? I have not dared to put my Avata 2 through those paces.

Thanks, PHZ, your words are very kind and much appreciated.

Signal strength is something I am very conscious of; I am constantly checking it, and as soon as it starts to drop, I reverse my course or gain height, which often seems to increase the strength.

At times, I do think that canyons actually channel the signal along them as it seems unusually strong when compared with flying through trees, but I have nothing but anecdotal evidence of that...
