Time for this pilot to download the 'Can I fly there ' app and check their flight locations before takeoff.

Was looking at new ways of using Google 3D maps to plan some Litchi missions. You can mission plan with Litchi and then run the mission in real time in Google Maps Pro so see what it looks like. Going to give it a go in a less populated area.

I have used Google Earth too, it can come in handy to layout a mission.

Got to agree.
If I were the poster, I'd take that down of the web.

The city is bad enough, all heli zones max 45 metres, no flying over buildings, traffic, people.

But the Brisbane Domestic and International Airport !!
Total no fly zone for many many km.
Mate you could have seriously caused a major incident !!

Serious airport planes every few minutes, it's like LAX.

I'm really surprised they didn't hunt you down, they probably did try. I believe drones will come up on radar and they have units to track signals etc.
