Broken antenna fix

I broke one on my Smart Controller antenna (don’t ask me how, I feel stupid). As you can guess, this as greatly reduced my range to about 1 km.


I’m planning to send it to DJI for repairs at some point but for now I was wondering if anyone had a quick fix/hack to help me improve my range.


As you can see on the pictures, there is one little wire coming out of the broken antenna.

where is the broken piece, looks like a simple re-join/solder without making the wire change in length at all to maintain the correct wavelength, then insert the very end bit back up into the broken piece & re-glue the two together, if done correctly should work as good as new.
