Even a minor crash can damage the top plastic part of the rear arm joint. Do you have to replace the whole rear arm including the motor?
It appears that this is a „sollbruchstelle“ = (part which is built to break first) which DJI purposefully has designed so this is the weakest point when crashing the Mavic (after the gimbal, lol).
My quick fix of broken rear arm:
This repair is stronger than the weak original situation. It can also be made prophylactically (before any possible damage). Sofar the little extra piece of wire has not caused interference or any other problem.
The disadvantage could be that in a crash the rear arm survives but the middle frame gets damaged, which is a cheaper part but more difficult to replace?

- Acrylic glue
- “Cerclage tension wiring”
