Buying a Mavic

Hi guys,

I'm about to buy a second hand Mavic from early 2017.
What should I check on it, concerning the common issues related by lots of users?

Is there any list type where I can check it?

If I buy directly from DJI is there any guarantee that all firmware is up to date or not?

Updating firmware shouldn't be a concern. Buying a refurbished one from DJI would come with some sort of warranty and I believe you can purchase Care Refresh for it.

Given the frequency of updates there's a good chance you'll have to update something anyway. Just ask the seller when it was last updated. Do you anticipate a problem updating? Knock on wood, I've never had a single issue updating on any of my DJI devices.

Something else is giving me some doubts...If I buy directly from DJI site, will I pay any extra tax for sending to Europe?
