Buying advice (faulty camera)

Hi, I can buy a used Mavic Pro for less than 300 dollars, and it comes with a faulty camera. According to the seller it has never crashed and camera just stopped working during a flight, something I will be more sure about only when I'll check for major scratches.
Now, how expensive should it be to repair it and is there a chance for it to be something other than the camera?

I would say it's too much of risk to get a secondhand mavic with a faulty camera.

Why is the seller selling, usually it's because it's too much to repair

I would Buy
You can buy a replacement camera/ gimble
Assembly for around $78 (I did)
And install

If it is the board $75( not common to fail)
I would also replace the ribbon cable and mount rubbers
@ $300 if complete with battery and radio
I don’t see the downside

I agree I just bought one locally with a damaged gimble and tones of spare parts so well worth it when I have a always go to drone.

Only issue could undermine easy replacement is if it’s NOT the camera but water damage internally (so you won’t see scratches)...
